Looking for a way to shed that stubborn fat and Kick start your healthy eating lifestyle? These amazing lemon detox recipes will wow you with their fat burning and toxin elimination power.
I have been on many detox programs in the past and I can say for sure that the most effective ones are the ones I made right from the comfort of my kitchen from scratch.
Yes, I know someone might get angry with me for saying this, but you don’t need those fancy packaged and expensive detox diet plans to rid yourself of accumulated toxins.
When I finally came unto this realization, I was a bit angry with myself, because, I have so much gone all out of my meager budget to purchase some of these things and reaped so little benefits.
I even felt worse because I had believed in them so much so that I even went ahead to convince family and friends to embark on these so-called detox diets.
I was more disappointed than they were because of course, I expected more. Little did I know that I could reap better benefits by just doing some easy recipes right from my kitchen.
Drinking more water
Drinking more water than you usually do can be the elixir you need to enhance your body detox, but if you are like me that is not always easy to achieve.
I have found that adding different flavors to water makes me drink more, 1) because I get to carry a can of water along as I go and 2) I enjoy drinking more because of the added flavors.
But if you find drinking plain sparkling water enjoyable, then you may not need too much of these, maybe just once in a while. This is because water is a powerful eliminator of toxins.
In our natural world, we encounter toxins regularly which slow down our system and make it difficult to reap the benefits of a healthy diet or lifestyle.
Though our body has its own detox mechanism, it is inhibited by our lifestyle and the excess toxins that go in. So going on a detox gives it a helping hand.
When I’m talking about detox I don’t mean some hyped diet or supplements or mixtures that could break your budget.
Right from the comfort of your kitchen
I have been a keen believer in finding natural ways to deal with everyday problems. So when I took it upon myself to research easy and fun ways to rid our bodies of toxins, it was so fulfilling.
Now I know that on the journey to a healthy eating lifestyle, there is a phase of getting prepared, much like any other journey you have to embark on. Getting yourself prepared is a major part.
The same goes with the decision to make healthy eating our lifestyle. You have to get your mind and body prepared so there are not too many setbacks.
On the journey to a healthy eating lifestyle, detox is one way to get prepared and there are many healthy ways to achieve that which can also be fun and budget-friendly.
I always say that right? Budget-friendly; is a big thing for me because I’m on a budget and I don’t particularly welcome anything that could strain my wallet.
Now before we get to the menu part, I’d like for us to get it right from the start. I’m not going to introduce some diet plans for detox that will cut out almost all your regular intake of healthy foods.
No, I don’t think detox should be a total elimination of food and I don’t think it has to be for a long time also.
Much like exfoliation and scrubbing is needed to prepare your skin for whatever skincare mission you want to embark on and it doesn’t have to be done for a long time nor do you have to do it every day.
You can reap huge benefits from doing a simple detox for just a few hours of the day and by cutting out only a few harmful habits.
The 8 detox recipes on this list are all lemon-based and you will discover the many benefits of lemon and why lemon is the go-to fruit when in combination with other healthy fruits to reap maximum results.
